"Cuban Flag" - A tribute to our Cubanos, featuring the beloved flag. The design itself is “distressed” to give it a vintage, worn look. The Cuban government's official version of the meaning of the Cuban flag states that - the blue stripes refer to the three old provinces of the island; and the two white stripes represent the strength of the independent ideal. The red triangle symbolizes equality, fraternity and freedom, as well as the blood shed in the island's struggle for independence. Finally, the white star symbolizes the absolute freedom among the Cuban people. (Don’t we wish they actually had this?)

"Bandera Cubana" - Homenaje a nuestros hermanos cubanos y su querida bandera. El gobierno oficial de Cuba explica los símbolos de la bandera de esta manera: las franjas azules representan las tres provincias originales; las blancas son la fuerza de la independencia. EL triangulo rojo simboliza igualdad, hermandad, libertad, y la sangre derramada en la batalla de la independencia. Finalmente, la estrella personifica la libertad absoluta del pueblo cubano. (¡Ojala que fuera verdad!).
